Children that come to Pastor CJ’s house will be met with lots of fun events, candy, and gospel literature called Life Books to go home with.
We will also be inviting our “Grace Kids” to come and “Reverse Trick Or Treat”, which means they will be going door to door giving out Bibles as they ask for candy.
We believe that there are few opportunities to successfully pass out Bibles door to door, and in years past we have seen a lot of success with this endeavor.
Our members will also be sponsoring “Glow In The Dark” houses, which means they will be passing out candy and Life Books as well. This way there will be kids all over the city going home with Life Books that night.
The Fall Festival starts at sunset, so we desire our adult volunteers to come to CJ’s house through out the day to help set up. We desire that Grace Kids go home after school to get dinner and put on costumes that are not wicked, and then come to CJ’s house to help with the Reverse Trick Or Treating.
There will be a sign up sheet in the back of the sanctuary every week between now and Festival Time for you to let us know if you want to help with the Festival, sponsor a Glow In The Dark House, or be on a Reverse Trick Or Treat Team.
Please also consider bringing in a donation of a bag of candy to our next Sunday service to support the Fall Festival.
