Mentoring Graduates of the Ready To Work Program

Ready To Work is a local halfway house that targets people experiencing homelessness, especially after having been incarcerated. Residents are employed by this same program and are connected with various social services to empower them for long term success.
How We Help
We have been asked to mentor their graduates and assist them with their aftercare programs. It is our pleasure to come along side these men and women by offering friendship and guidance because it helps ensure they remain in stable housing.
We mentor them by doing at least the following:
- Spend time together
- Offer advice or counseling as requested
- Invite, and give rides to church, events, and programs
- Connect them to Recovery programs such as Celebrate Recovery
Want to get involved?
We are always looking for more mentors. Just let us know that you want to get involved and we will bring you in!
