They will hate Him through us

Just as Jesus taught us that He will love the world through His disciples, so the opposite is true. The world will hate Jesus through His disciples. Jesus tells us this, not to discourage us, but to help us affirm that we are on the right path that God has set out for us. We may share in the suffering of Jesus Christ, but we also get to inherit His glory, which surpasses any momentary afflictions that this world may offer!
