As we follow the example of Jesus Christ, we will be convicted to serve. Grace Of The Lord Church has a lot of ways you can serve, and we would sincerely appreciate you praying about how you can help us.
By serving in one of these ways, you will help us help others.
Children & Youth Ministry
We have a thriving congregation of children and youth, but no youth ministry leader!
We have a lot of opportunities to minister to youth in various ways, and are anxious for God to send us the person who can serve our youth well.
We are looking for any, or all of these areas of service.

- Children’s Sunday School teacher
Hospitality
We need friendly people to help us be hospitable. Duties would include any of the following that you are willing to commit to.
- Guest Follow UP
- Greeting
- Care Package Drop Off
- Care Calls
- Visitations
Admin
We are looking for a qualified volunteer to help us with general administrative work during the week.
We can offer a flexible schedule, and would use you for as many or as few hours as you are willing to donate.
Duties would include general office work, computer work, and simple projects like managing our attendance logs.
Bookkeeping
We are looking for somebody available for roughly 20 hours per month that is detail oriented and qualified to help with some light income and expense tracking in our accounting software.
We can offer a flexible schedule and you can do this job from your own home.
Outreach
We love our community and we exist as a church to make a difference. But we can not do that without your help!
We need servants and leaders to help us with outreach projects during weekdays.
Project opportunities vary based on the weather, community needs, and resources. We are also happy to hear your ideas!
A.V Team
We need people to help us run cameras, sound, and other technology during the Sunday Service.
We can train you if you are not tech savvy. We just need you to be consistent and on time!
Set Up Team
We desperately need help setting up the church on Sunday mornings. Our Sr. Pastor is the first in and the last out every Sunday, gladly helping with these basic tasks. If he could be relieved of this responsibility, it would allow him to provide ministry services that only he can provide.
We see this as a responsibility that anybody can do, so we would love to see him delegate this so that he can do what only he can do.
The job is simple and can be done by one person in 30-45 minutes.
Clean Up Team
Currently all of our clean up team are already serving on Sundays in other capacities. If you would volunteer to help clean up after church, it will ensure our current service team does not get burned out.
The clean up is easy and goes pretty fast.
If you would be willing to help, you will ensure that our current service team avoids exhaustion and continues to have fun doing church ministry, which is the way it is supposed to be!
Social Media
1 Hour per week! That’s it!
We need somebody who will manage our Facebook. We use a free software that allows us to schedule posts, so you could schedule over a weeks worth of posts in one sitting if you like.
Content Production
We are looking for Tech Savy people who can help us produce videos and/or graphics. These videos and graphics will be used for our online services and mass communications.
This work can be done from home, unless it involves recording on location.
Tithe Count Team
We are looking for people who will help us count and log the tithe collection.
This would involve you staying behind for a few minutes after church to count and log the money with others on our team. There will be a training to equip you to help us within our accountability policy.
The whole process is simple and fast. We desire to have enough volunteers for this that we can rotate people off and on, as well as having more back ups to substitute when somebody calls off.
Child Care
Thursday nights from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the church. This would take place during our Recovery Church service. This child care setting does not require you to prepare a lesson the same as one would if they were hosting our Children’s Church on Sunday mornings.
This is simply just some child sitting.
Transportation
We are looking for a driver to provide rides to and from church services, groups, and events using our van.
Prayer Team
We are always looking for people to join our prayer team, but right now we are especially looking for a prayer team leader.
Leader would input all prayer requests to our online form to distribute to the whole team, facilitate our prayer gathering, and any other prayer ministries such as special events.
Grace Group Teachers
We are looking for qualified and called individuals to help lead our Grace Groups either on Sunday mornings or during weekdays.
Care Call Team
This team would make Care Calls during weekdays each week. You would choose how many you want, and you would get an email with contact selected by the ministry manager. You would contact each one asking simply “How can I pray for you” and offer that prayer before you hang up if possible. This may lead to deeper conversations and care opportunities, or you may end up just leaving a voice mail. You would then report your encounter by either emailing the ministry manager or by entering comments into the contacts profile in our database.
Care Package Delivery
On this team, you would choose how many care packages you would be willing to deliver each week or month to a local destination. Destinations will be given to you by email from the ministry manager. You would knock and say something like “Here is a gift from Grace Of The Lord Church, is there anything I can pray for you before I go?” This may lead to a deeper conversation, or if nobody is home, you may end up leaving the package on the porch.
Care Portal Ministry Manager
This person will need a working knowledge of computers. Care Portal requests will come to your email and you will screen them to determine if they are in line with our values. Approved requests are then activated so that our response team can get a notification about the request.
As response team members work to meet needs, you will ensure they are promoting our other care ministries to any beneficiaries and making sure that all beneficiaries get added to our care ministry flow after being registered in our database.
